Frequently Asked Questions

Can anyone be seen at this clinic?
Age limitation for treatment at our clinic is 18 to 64 years old.
Our practice has made the decision to opt-out of the Medicare program. As a result, we are unable to offer treatment to individuals who are 65 years of age or older, regardless of their Medicare enrollment status or payment method. If you are enrolled with Medicare for any reason, we will not be able to see you.
We understand that this policy may have implications for patients in need of healthcare services, and we apologize for any inconvenience it may cause. Our primary focus has always been on delivering exceptional care to our patients.
If you or a loved one is 65 years or older and seeking medical treatment, we recommend exploring alternative healthcare options available in your area. These options may include healthcare providers who specialize in serving individuals in your age group.
We appreciate your understanding of our policy and assure you that our commitment to providing exceptional healthcare remains unwavering.

Do you accept health insurance?
We are unable to accept or process any health insurance claims. Additionally, we do not provide services for personal injury cases, including those resulting from car accidents, nor do we accept workers' compensation claims.
We kindly request that full payment be made at the conclusion of each treatment session. However, patients are welcome to request documentation of their visit, which can be submitted to their respective insurance providers. Please note that any potential reimbursement from your insurance company is entirely dependent on the terms and conditions of your individual policy and is beyond our purview.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding of our policy.

Is the Y-Axis Manual Decompression (Ring Dinger®) treatment recommended for all patients?
No, it is not. Our practice follows a thorough evaluation process where a comprehensive history and examination are conducted by the doctor. Only after this evaluation, the doctor will determine whether to accept an individual as a patient and administer the Y-Axis Manual Decompression treatment. Please note that not all individuals will be accepted as patients.
We prioritize the well-being and safety of our patients, and the decision to proceed with this specialized treatment is made on a case-by-case basis.

What are some reasons a patient might not get treated?
The following are some, but not all reasons, why someone might not be accepted as a patient: History of stroke, stents, cancer, diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis (DISH), Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS), advanced atherosclerosis, spinal hardware/fusions, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Marfan syndrome, Loeys-Dietz syndrome, osteogenesis imperfecta, stickler syndrome, heart issues, clots, spinal fusions, and severe osteoporosis.

Treatment for Patients with Spinal Hardware:
We do not treat patients with spinal hardware (fusions, disc replacements, spinal stimulators, etc.) Until they are fully stable 6 months to 1 year.

Determining the number of Treatments:
The number of treatments required will be determined after a thorough evaluation of your specific condition through a comprehensive history and examination conducted by the doctor. Each patient's needs and response to treatment may vary, and a personalized treatment plan will be designed to address your individual circumstances.
In general, for most cases, patients typically require between 1-3 visits to address a specific problem. However, it is important to note that in accordance with evidence-based guidelines, such as the Medical Treatment Utilization Schedule (MTUS) widely used by States and medical establishments, up to 6 chiropractic treatments may be recommended.
These guidelines are based on extensive research and aim to provide effective and appropriate care to patients. They serve as a reference for healthcare professionals to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
We believe in providing focused and efficient care to our patients while adhering to industry guidelines and best practices. Our goal is to address your condition effectively within a reasonable timeframe, and we will work closely with you to ensure your treatment plan is tailored to your specific needs and goals.
During your initial consultation, the doctor will discuss your treatment plan, including the anticipated number of visits, and will be available to answer any questions you may have. We are committed to providing transparent and personalized care, supporting your journey to improved health and well-being.

Individualized Approach to Maintenance Care:
At our practice, we recognize that every patient's response to treatment, lifestyle, and medical circumstances are unique. Therefore, the recommendation for maintenance care is based on an individualized assessment tailored to your specific needs.
Rather than prescribing a one-size-fits-all approach, we encourage our patients to return for follow-up appointments if and when they experience a recurrence of the issue. We believe in addressing the root cause of the problem and providing the necessary care at the right time.
It is important to note that some patients find value in periodic check-ups or preventive treatments. These proactive measures can help maintain spinal health and overall well-being. Many individuals choose to schedule an annual visit for a single treatment as part of their overall health management.

What are the costs of treatment?
The first visit is $399, it includes history, examination and treatment. Any return visit is $250 and includes examination and treatment.
